A New XAFS Beamline NW10A at the Photon Factory
A new XAFS beamline NW10A using bending magnet radiation from 6.5 GeV PF-AR has been constructed. NW10A consists of a Si(311) double crystal monochromator and a Pt-coated bent cylindrical focusing mirror and provides focused X-ray beam between 8 and 42 keV. The obtained flux through a 1mm square slit is 1×10 ph/s at 20 keV and 7×10 ph/s at 30keV, which are 20 and 200 times more intense than obt...
متن کاملDiamond beamline I07: a beamline for surface and interface diffraction
Beamline I07 at Diamond Light Source is dedicated to the study of the structure of surfaces and interfaces for a wide range of sample types, from soft matter to ultrahigh vacuum. The beamline operates in the energy range 8-30 keV and has two endstations. The first houses a 2+3 diffractometer, which acts as a versatile platform for grazing-incidence techniques including surface X-ray diffraction...
متن کاملImprovement in XAFS beamline BL01B1 at SPring-8
Beamline BL01B1 was constructed for conventional XAFS measurements using a bending magnet light source at SPring-8 in 1997 [1]. BL01B1 covers a wide energy range from 3.8 to 113 keV using an adjustable inclined double-crystal monochromator and a double mirror system. Here, we describe a newly developed apparatus and the current status of the BL01B1. A time-efficient QEXAFS method was developed ...
متن کاملKMC-1: a high resolution and high flux soft x-ray beamline at BESSY.
The crystal monochromator beamline KMC-1 at a BESSY II bending magnet covers the energy range from soft (1.7 keV) to hard x-rays (12 keV) employing the (n,-n) double crystal arrangement with constant beam offset. The monochromator is equipped with three sets of crystals, InSb, Si (111), and Si (422) which are exchangeable in situ within a few minutes. Beamline and monochromator have been optimi...
